Kiera Johnson, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC,
MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BCKiera Johnson provides psychiatric and mental health services through telemedicine to patients across the lifespan using evidence-based practices for best patient outcomes. She believes that care should be individualized for each person by taking into account their biological, social, and psychological needs.
Kiera graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and minors in Gender Studies and Africana Studies. She then attended Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing where she obtained an MSN followed by a Post-Master’s Certificate at Maryville University which allows her to practice as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Prior to becoming an NP, Kiera worked in a variety of inpatient settings including children, adolescents, adults, and dual diagnoses (substance use and mental health). She believes these experiences furthered her ability to provide quality care in the outpatient setting.
Kiera is happily married and loves spending time with her husband and their three animals. In her spare time, she loves crocheting and eating good food.
