Ms. Reed obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of New Mexico School of Law. She earned her Master of Social Work and Bachelor of Sociology Degrees from the University of Michigan. Ms. Reed is a dually licensed independent clinical social worker and licensed attorney for the State of New Mexico. She also maintains a Michigan clinical social work license. Prior to joining Krossroads Integrative Health and Recovery Solutions, Inc., Ms. Reed served as the Deputy Director for the Licensing and Certification Authority Bureau within the Behavioral Health Services Division of CYFD. In her previous legal employment, Ms. Reed practiced criminal defense, family law, provided parent representation in child welfare cases and represented respondents in assisted outpatient treatment proceedings. She has also served as guardian ad litem for child custody cases with the Pueblo of Isleta. Ms. Reed has worked as a clinical social worker in a variety of settings including outpatient clinics, an inpatient psychiatric unit, emergency rooms and juvenile court. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys crocheting, traveling, reading, and spending time with animals, family and friends.
